Elizabeth Harper, Publisher Elizabeth Harper holds a doctorate in Psychology, but has found her most fascinating study of human behavior in literature. Her professional writing and editing activities have always been the highlight of her career as she assists students in learning the craft of writing, edits professional research, and develops curriculum. She enjoys reading, writing, and editing, and loves nothing more than to share a great story with anyone who will listen. She has spent the last few years helping creative writers develop their craft, all leading up to the formation of Omnific Publishing. She lives in Dallas with her family.












CJ Creel, Editorial Director CJ Creel holds a doctorate level degree. She originally developed her editing skills in graduate school as a member of the managerial staff of a professional journal. She was raised in Never Never Land, meaning she hasn't quite matured enough to outgrow her love for reading books of all kinds. There were various stints in places like Wonderland, Camelot, Regency England, Cross Creek, Mordant, Earthsea and Narnia; a piece of her heart will forever dwell in Middle Earth. She has fought alongside Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever, followed King Arthur into battle, joined Wellington's Army to campaign with Richard Sharpe, and sailed the seas with Aubrey and Hornblower. All of these adventures have instilled in her a passion to help authors achieve their vision in bringing their stories to life. That, and an obsessively weird love of grammar, punctuation and word usage.







Lisa O'Hara, Acquisitions Director Lisa O'Hara discovered that she loved good books at a young age. She earned her bachelor's degree in French from California State University, Chico. When she is not spending time with her husband and children, Lisa loves to read most anything, but some of her favorite authors include Maeve Binchey and JK Rowling. As Acquisitions Director for Omnific Publishing, Lisa puts her many years of reading to use as she evaluates new submissions.








Emma Taylor, Acquisitions Editor Emma Taylor has studied literature for many years. She is quite attached to her ever-growing book collection and she spends countless hours in bookstores and libraries. She believes that every book is different for each reader and that the words they contain do not affect our senses, the imagery they create do. Her interests vary, but Emma enjoys romantic comedy, mystery, paranormal, young adult, biographies and historical novels. As an Acquisitions Editor for Omnific Publishing, Emma is thrilled to utilize her love for the written word as she reviews new submissions.

Kasi Alexander, Acquisitions Editor, Editor Kasi lives in Denver, CO with her family and a Great Dane named Daisy. She has a degree in English Literature and Linguistics and is a freelance editor and a writer of contemporary erotic romance. Her specialties are BDSM and menage but she will read almost anything, including YA and paranormal.

Melissa Simmons, Acquisitions Editor Melissa Simmons discovered her passion for reading at a young age with the Anne Rice novels. The passion was rekindled as an adult when she came across Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. Her other favorite authors include JR Ward, Charlaine Harris, Sherrilyn Kenyon, and Jeaniene Frost. Though her degree is in Business, her passion for the written word has led her to her position as an Acquisitions Editor for Omnific. Melissa just celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary and has 3 kids that keep her from ever getting bored. She is so excited to be a part of Omnific family.

Sean Riley, Acquisitions Editor Sean Riley comes to Omnific Publishing after a lifetime of wanderlust and strange travels. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from San Francisco State University, but please don't hold that against him. He has been to Ireland, Japan, the Netherlands, and Belgium, but he currently calls California home. He spent a number of years working as a library clerk, where numerous romantic titles would pass by his desk, featuring pictures of medieval Scotsman and damsels in varying degrees of distress. Sean is single and unencumbered by such things as mortgages and small children. He's got all the time in the world to read what you have to offer. Sean dabbles in writing himself, having recently finished a children's book, as well as an epic fantasy novel that may or may not ever be truly complete. Sean's literary tastes tend toward the esoteric and bizarre, but he's looking forward to finding the newest talent in romantic literature. We all need a little love, right?


Kimberly Blythe, Head Editor Kim graduated with a B.A. in English where she focused on Regency and Victorian Literature. She followed that with an M.A. in Applied Linguistics, enjoying her study of the history of the English language, slang and dialects. For the last twelve years she has lived abroad, teaching classes on the English language, world literature and linguistics at the college level. Since she was one of the few native speakers of English available, by default she began editing grants and marketing materials from the universities she worked for and began to familiarize herself with the various style manuals. Her last job required her to guide thesis students in MLA documentation style and preventing unintentional plagiarism. She enjoys helping authors learn all of the little quirks of grammar and punctuation found in the English language.







Cindy Campbell, Editor Cindy Campbell comes to Omnific with over twenty years in the education field, both at the secondary and the university level. Her own education culminated with her doctoral coursework. Teaching college writing and critiquing students' written work has helped her develop a strong knowledge base in the mechanics of writing. Cindy's passion is helping writers improve their work and learn from their errors, whether it be her college students or authors working with Omnific. Cindy enjoys Contemporary Romance and Romantic Suspense, but occasionally serves as an Editor for Omnific's Paranormal Romance line as well. Her attention to detail and love for exciting plot twists make her job as an editor a perfect fit.

Katherine Teel, Editor Kathy Teel is a freelance writer and editor who thinks that getting paid to read books is the best job in the world. She's been reading romances since she was ten, when her mom initiated her into the genre by giving her Barbara Cartland books to read. Kathy has a strange assortment of education, which is getting stranger the older she gets. She lives in Missouri with her true love, three kids, and three dogs. Kathy is proud to serve as an Editor for Omnific Publishing, where she enjoys working in a variety of different subgenres. From Paranormal Romance to Historical Romance, Kathy always finds a way to relate her experience and education to the setting or storyline of a novel.










Jennifer DeLucy, Editor Jennifer DeLucy is a published author who was born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania, where she developed her love of reading, writing and the arts. A lifelong writer, she began her editing career as an editor for community organization publications and progressed to short fiction and full novel editing in recent years. She continues her study of creative writing and the English language, always looking to learn so she can pass that knowledge on to her writers. Jennifer is pleased to work with Omnific as a Developmental Editor, and is especially enthusiastic about books with a positive, inspiring message and good character progression. Among the covers she has worn ragged are Jane Eyre, The Five People You Meet In Heaven and The Hobbit. In her spare time, Jennifer writes her own fiction and performs musically in the local community.

Meredith MacLeod, Editor Meredith completed her Bachelor's Degree in Eastern Canada. She considers editing to be the ideal job, offering the perfect excuse to dive into yet another adventure, to greet a new family of characters and to lose herself entirely in the joy of the tale. Helping an author to craft their book into its finest form is an added pleasure. Her taste in books is eclectic, but her favorites are historical fiction, paranormal, romances and comedies. She has a weakness for happy endings and witnessing the triumph of true love. She's delighted to be part of Omnific and be able to explore new books, new heroes and heroines, and her love of the written word.







Beverly Nickelson, Editor Beverly holds a B.S. from Eastern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from DePaul University. She began her career in editing as a Senior Financial Analyst where she was responsible for editing investment reports for presentation to executives of corporate and public institutions. In more recent years, Beverly has put her editing talents to work in the fiction arena, helping authors to shape and polish their work for publication on literary Web sites. Like any good editor, Beverly loves to read. Among her favorite works are Gone With the Wind, anything Austen, and the Harry Potter series. She is thrilled to be working with the talented stable of authors at Omnific.










Jessica Royer Ocken, Editor Jessica is a freelance writer and editor based in Chicago and has a master's degree from the Missouri School of Journalism. She has covered topics from technology to teenagers and worked with writers on text for dissertations, academic publications, websites, museum wall text, and steamy novels. In addition to editing fiction, she is currently at work on a history of the Northern District of California federal courts. Jessica is excited to be a part of the Omnific editing team.







Alicia Stevens, Editor Since as long as Alicia can remember, she has always been drawn to imaginative story-telling and knew from a very early age that someday her work would revolve around that. Though there were numerous setbacks over the years, she finally returned to school to finish earning the degree she'd started almost 18 years prior, eventually graduating in the spring of 2011. When she's not curled up with a romance novel or watching zombie flicks, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children in sunny San Diego.











Colleen Wagner, Editor Colleen Keough Wagner's reading life began with Munro Leaf's The Story of Ferdinand, the bull who loved to sit under his favorite cork tree and smell the flowers. Though her professional life began with a B.S. in Finance at the University of Illinois, she realized books have always been her way of smelling the flowers, so she left the corporate bullfight to earn her M.Ed at DePaul University and instruct in literature and writing at the secondary level. From financial analysis reports to research and literary analysis essays, from creative writing to expat blogging, Colleen has been an avid writer and proofreader of fiction and nonfiction alike. Presently residing with her husband in the literary capital of London, she is elated to join Omnific as an Editor, helping to cultivate new authors' works such that they bloom in the printed word.







Sarah Allan, Editor Sarah Allan was born and raised in Connecticut, where her parents encouraged her to read whatever she could get her hands on. She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut, and has held varied jobs including call center rep, insurance adjuster, and financial analyst. Sarah discovered that her true passion lies in reading, editing, and writing her own stories, and counts herself as one of the lucky ones who finally found what she wanted to do when she grew up. Sarah and her husband currently live abroad, and she is proud to be an Editor for Omnific Publishing.











Coreen Montagna, Production Coordinator/Head Proofreader Coreen Montagna has a doctorate in Pharmacy, but is an artist at heart. Even while working on her degree from the University at Buffalo, she took as many art classes as she could on the side: ceramics, photography, art history. Cory has been a voracious reader since elementary school, and was heartbroken when she discovered that there are people who never read books if it isn't required for work or school. As Omnific's Production Coordinator, Cory combines her love of art and words in a wonderfully unexpected way.







Micha Stone, Marketing and Creative Director With more than twenty years of marketing, design, association management and event planning experience, Micha brings a well developed understanding of the importance of niche and viral marketing plans. She has planned and executed marketing strategies for small businesses, special events, celebrity events, professional associations, as well as local, regional and state funded environmental programs nationwide. Micha has designed and launched traditional marketing plans but specializes in social and individualized marketing. She has a profound belief in Omnific Publishing and its mission and is excited to lend her skills and experience to such a promising venture. Micha is a fifth generation Texan who has lived in Colorado for the last twelve years. In addition to her work with Omnific Publishing, she is a senior marketing specialist for a consulting firm, co- founder of WeBook Apparel and is an active contractor with an event planning organization.







Traci Olsen, Publicist Always an avid reader, when Traci Olsen was eight years old she read "The Tell Tale Heart" by Edgar Allen Poe and was so scared she didn't sleep for a week. Oddly, this didn't stop her from reading anything and everything she could get her hands on. Raised in the deep woods of northeastern Massachusetts, she managed to wriggle free of the East Coast long enough to earn a BFA in Studio Art from the University of New Mexico. She and her family now live in a Massachusetts, where she co-hosts a popular political podcast and uses her skills as a social media maven to promote authors of both fiction and nonfiction.
