OMNIFIC "LOOKIN' FOR LOVE" WEB HUNT CONTEST RULES

1. Contest:  The contest is a “webhunt” (the “Contest”).  No purchase is necessary to enter.

2. Sponsor: The Contest is sponsored by Omnific Publishing, LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“Omnific”), with principal place of business at PO Box 793871, Dallas, TX 76227.

3. Binding Agreement: In order to enter the Contest, you must agree to these Official Rules (“Rules”). The Rules consist of the terms and conditions on this page.  Because you will be bound by these Rules and these Rules will form a legally binding agreement with respect to this Contest, please read them carefully. You agree that submission of an entry in the Contest constitutes your agreement to these Rules.

4. Eligibility: The Contest is open only to US residents at least 18 years of age.  Employees, interns, contractors, and authors, as well as their immediate families and co-habitants or other persons professionally connected with the Contest are not eligible to participate. This Contest is void where prohibited. 

5. Contest Period:The Contest begins at 12:01:00 A.M. Eastern Time (ET) on February 1, 2011 and ends on 11:59:59 P.M. Eastern Time (ET) on February 14, 2011.

6. How To Enter:  All entries must be submitted via the submission form at: http://omnificpublishing.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=41.   Only submissions submitted via this form will be accepted as valid. Submissions must also be correct and complete (as determined by Omnific), be in English, and must be received by Omnific no later than 11:59:59 P.M. Eastern Time (ET) on February 14, 2011 to be considered eligible entries. Omnific accepts no responsibility for submissions lost or delayed, for whatever cause or reason.   Only one entry per person and per e-mail address

7. Conduct: Failure to comply with these Rules may result in disqualification from the Contest. You further agree to comply with and be bound by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects. Omnific reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant it finds to be: (1) violating these rules; (2) violating the terms of use of any Omnific property; or (3) acting in a disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any false information provided within the context of the Contest by any entrant may result in the immediate elimination of an entrant from the Contest.

8. Selection of Winners: Twelve winners in total will be selected, including one grand prizewinner and one runner-up.  Winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries and notified by e-mail.  Award of prizes is final and binding. If any winner is unable for whatever reason to accept the prize within sixty days of notification of winning, then Omnific reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.  Odds of winning are based on the amount of entries. 

9. Prizes: The grand prizewinner will win a complete set of ebook editions of all Omnific titles published by the end date of the Contest, the approximate retail value of which is $100.   The runner-up will win five ebook editions of different Omnific titles of their choosing, the approximate retail value of which is $25.  Ten additional winners will each win the ebook edition of the Omnific title, A Valentine Anthology, the approximate retail value of which is $5.  The winners are responsible for any taxes that may apply, as well as any other incidentals or costs associated with claiming the prize. For instance, in order to redeem the prizes, the winners must have a device on which to download and read the ebooks. There is no cash alternative and the prizes must be taken as offered. Omnific reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of an equivalent value should the prizes become unavailable for any reason. 

10. Media Activity: By participating in this Contest, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium which Omnific Publishing may deem appropriate.

11. Privacy Notice: By participating in this Contest, you agree that we can collect your personal information, and that if we cannot collect the required data, you may not be eligible to participate in the Contest. Any personal information collected during the course of the competition by Omnific will only be used for administering this Contest and for other purposes as outlined in these Rules, and as set forth in the  privacy policy on  Omnific’s web site.

12. General Conditions: This Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by Omnific’s decisions, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Contest. Potential prize winners may be required to sign and return a Liability/Publicity Release  and provide any additional information that may be required by Omnific. Failure to comply within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Omnific is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Contest or in the announcement of the prizes.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:  In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that Omnific Publishing, LLC, may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using the prize(s).

14. Internet: Omnific is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind.

15. Severability: If any provision(s) of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.

16. Winner List: The names of the winners will be posted on the Website within 10 days of the end of the Contest.
